This show can only be described as one word; masterpiece. It's the amalgamation of the essence of what it means to be human through the lens of a semi omniscient storyteller. it perfectly blends the complexity of being on the opposite spectrum of the social hierarchy from being a white monarch to a less fortunate person of colour. every character is seen to be morally gray, with no one-sided character. for example, the protagonists of the show are both good people, but they can also sometimes be seen as selfish or may have reacted in ways less than pleasant. this goes towards minor characters as well who have both professional and emotional factors to look into when dealing with things. this show is human - in the best way possible. It's painful, endearing, charming, funny, and for lack of a better word: captivating. if one could take a collection of works of fiction and stories and experiences from real life, you would get Netflix's Young Royals.

I absolutely LOVED this show. The intrigue, the suspense, the whole mystery of it all. I was sat on the edge of my seat(more like my bed) the entire time while watching it. There was not one boring or stale moment in the show. This show brought me joy, fear, anxiety, and even relief. Although I was hoping for a happy ending, that is never how you end a show. I stayed up watching this show till 6 in the morning. This show is definitely binge-worthy and action-packed that I couldn’t stop watching. I absolutely loved the entire lore and the “scavenger hunt” this show brings us on. The reveals were well planned and executed and the moments that had us bewildered and amazed was truly so thought provoking and interesting. This show borders the line of video game and social commentary. From the flawed justice system to the effects and dangers that influence can have. I would definitely recommend watching this show. Although, it will be a while before I can rewatch it. The adrenaline rush I received upon watching the last episode and finishing it was truly due to the anticipation and ecstatic longing and want after this show. Overall, I’d say that this show may be the best in its category. No other mystery and suspense, thriller show has brought me so much joy as this did. So here’s to hoping for another season. And here’s to hoping for abetter justice system in the fictional and non- fictional worlds.
