My favorite show of all time. This series changed my life.

I left the theatre feeling disappointed after seeing 1917. It lived up to my expectations in some ways but completely fell short in others. The cinematography was excellent and so was the set design but the plot was over simplistic and I had trouble staying engaded though the film. At the 2hr mark it kind of just "ends" and the payoff just wasn't there. There were also a few Hollywood clichés and things that didn't make any sense. This was an enjoyable movie but it's not something I would rewatch again.
