Ridiculoously long, pointless, meaningless rubbish. More like a propaganda movie.

I watched 2 excruciatingly painful episodes & then gave up. So my review is based on those 2 episodes only. The premise of the show, makes it all so predictably. An unlikely American who does not know anything about British football or about the country is going to manage a Premier League team. It is totally predictable that he will be ridiculed & hated at first but will eventually succeed and with everyone's respect, even love. From the beginning it is full of stereotypes. Americans are loud, rude, overconfident, and optimistic. For example Ted tells the owner how terrible the tea she offered to him is - many times - on their 1st meeting. He keeps barging into her office although she tell him that he is not welcome The jokes are so contrived and bad. For example boot in boot. This is just plain predictable, cheesy, trying to get cheap laughs & just awful.

I have a "sustainably fished" salmon in the fridge. That is the last fish I will eat. Thankyou Seaspiracy.

Boring movie with shallow storyline, therefore they have subplots that do nothing to support the main plot - like the archaeologist not reading his wife's letters, one archaeologist married to a woman is actually gay and interested in his colleague. His wife lusting after another man. The sickness of Mrs Pretty and her visits to hospitals. The war in the background...... The main story line can be summed in a few words: They find a hidden Anglo Saxon treason. That's it.

Absolutely the best comedy series ever. The accents are great and the women so hilariously powerful & manipulative & strong.

The hysterical comments from the religio-fanatics (who most likely never watched it), compelled me to watch it. IT IS ABSOLUTELY ONE OF THE MOST HILLARIOUIS movie I have ever seen. The jokes comes so fast I have to watch it again and keep pausing to read the subtitles to make sure I understood all the humor. THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Just as good as THE LAST HANGOVER by the same troupe.

One of the best comedies I have seen. The humor is natural in the daily life and actions and beliefs of the people. It is gentle humor, no forced. The acting is absolutely SUPERB!!!!

Awful, totally predictable, feel good, gooey, stereotypical (the wise easterners with their wise ways change the racist, stubborn westerners) and so gooey. The chef does not even seem very credible. Such bland acting by him. I see more Oprah hand in this than Spielberg. The cheap sentimentality will go well with the western audience & the eventual cultural coming together will make them feel warm inside.
