Clare Hollis

I don't often post reviews but wanted to show my support for this show as I'd love more seasons. The acting is superb particularly from Iwan Rheon and Sara Martins and because of this I believe the show has the potential to be amazing. Was the first season perfect, no, there were a lot of characters and some didn't feel fleshed out enough given the season is only 10 episodes. Therefore, the deaths felt like they came a bit too soon. And the CGI quality is pretty bad for those who care about such things (I personally care more for characters and storytelling). The overall story was good, and I think could be great given a few more seasons.

I don't often write reviews but this is one of the best Scfy/Fantasy shows I've seen in ages. When I heard it had got a lot of negative feedback (in my opinion due to bias against LQBTQ representation and a mostly female cast) I just had to write this review in support of this show. There is a real plot and I have no idea what is going to happen which makes it feel very fresh. Great world building. I am excited for the second season.
