Stunning visually. Captures the breadth of the original Kirby Eternals comics. Chloe Zhao is a visionary and I hope she has a long career. Can’t wait until the sequel. I hope Chloe will not be under appreciated like Jack Kirby was during his time with Marvel Comics. I really don’t get the critics. Completely wrong. Fav Marvel film so far and easily the best.

While the beginning/opening sequence is pretty bad, the story arc with the solid character development and plot line was engrossing. The exception being the Aquaman scene set in Iceland. I thought it was kind of insulting to the Icelandic people. The rest of the movie was fun and the inclusion of Darkseid was incredibly important. The action scenes were great eye candy. At times the acting was a bit over the top. Shades of Jon Lovitz’s SNL character “the actor”. Overall much better movie than the other theatrical release.
