This show is something special, I know how expensive rotoscoping is and this is the best example of the technique paired with a good compelling story. The characters are incredibly well fleshed out and the revolving relationships between the main character and her orbiting cast is amazing. Great pacing trippy visuals, light dosages of new age philosophy shamanism, spiritual understanding, mental health, time travel interwoven with pseudoscience make this a delicious recipe and guilty pleasure. This shouldn’t be recommended but experienced you’ll approach it with different understanding.

I dug it each minute the story progressed felt better, more believable, sucked you in. Great performance from Cavill blending what we saw from the games to what we imagined from the books. None of the ethnicities bothered me, it’s a fantasy there’s no basis for argument when the actors are competent. Grow up. Fair warning, the story doesn’t hold your hand it demands you pay attention it does not tell you when it’s in the past or the present, a story that doesn’t insult it’s audience's intelligence is a welcomed change of pace.
