Lots of comments about smoking and Mikki, but I think the show's strengths lie in the settings, the cultural context, and the acting of the serial killer characters. They captured the disturbing (understatement) inner life of the offenders and brought it convincingly to the screen.

I appreciated having the opportunity to view and share some small portion of Mr. Kaepernick's pain in the admittedly severely limited way of a white person who identified strongly with always being the "second choice" so poignantly expressed in one of the many compelling scenes in this miniseries.

Outstanding period piece and plot...almost [poetic in many parts.
