Oof! I wish I read the reviews before I started this movie but I was too sucked in by the idea of John Cusack and Sam Jackson working together that I was willing to attempt to forgive the movie's many, MANY sins. Frankly, had the synopsis on Prime done a better job of explaining this was a zombie flick, we wouldn't have bothered, Cusack and Jackson or no.
This had the potential of being a decent film without adding the zombie element. The subsequent supernatural element REALLY wasn't necessary. This plot screamed angry, old man troglodyte mad at the digital age. Not enough was explained, and the ending was utter bullocks.
This was far worse than The Stand, and I was convinced that was the absolute worst Stephen King project.
