Decent 80s horror film sequel with some nice kills, a scary yet quite likable main villain played to perfection by the always brilliant robert englund who managed to make freddy both evil and a joy to watch at the same time giving some good scares and some amazing one liners. the film also has an interesting plot/setting with an offbeat style, one hell of a theme tune and weirdly for a slasher film had some quite likable characters who you actually cared about due to a good cast who did a good job at making the characters believable and fun to watch(in particular Patricia Arquette who i have liked since true romance did a really good job at making you root for kristen throughout the film). Best in the series. 8/10
