Truthfully, I thought the Amazon series was a big disappointment. I've been reading the books by Lee Child for a long time, which are excellent and very entertaining. Ritchson does look mildly like you would imagine Reacher would look, but only vaguely. He's not a good actor to be playing Reacher. I've heard a lot of complaints about Cruise playing Reacher in the films but I thought he was more believable – even if he didn't “look” like you would imagine Reacher from reading the books. The books were on top, followed by the Tom Cruise movies, and the Amazon series, at least the first two, was a distant third. I'll probably watch the third series if/when it comes out if nothing else more attractive is playing on Amazon. I'm prepared to be disappointed again.
