A wonderfully scripted and directed film. David Lynch creates a whole world around you in which you are so sunk that you start to live that for a while. (Don't read ahead if you have not watched it). It's a story of a man who is about to die for killing his wife because he thinks she had an affair. He imagines that he did nothing and he is innocent. The later story is the depiction of that man at the time of death that he imagines what he wanted to be or the life he wanted to live.
