A good family movie for kids, but disappointing for anyone over 15 who’s read Jack London’s book and takes it seriously. Too many highly contrived, cartoon cliche subplots. It would be more candid for the screen credits to read “Very loosely based on...”. I read and re-read London’s original from fifth grade through grad school and was hoping for better from this.
