Watched a bit of Perry Mason when I was younger so decided to give this a try.
The vulgarity was ridiculous. Having them drop F bombs and others just like today- however, it wasn’t today and I don’t believe people talked like that back then.

I am halfway through..
I agree with other reviews that it starts out great. Never knew the stories of the witches and the puritans. I did find there was a lot of jumping around from year to year which made it a little hard to follow. Am now on the Ben Franklin portion which is strange. I really like Ben so I am going to finish it. But I didn’t check out a book on him 😂
