It was watchable but not very good. I like Lily James but she was either over the top crying or overly ecstatic. Today she would be diagnosed as bipolar and put on medication. As the series wore on, I cared less about her - and though she was supposed to be living this excited life, I was totally bored. It is a one note performance. Fanny is the more interesting character- who tries to figure out her individual place as a wife, mother, and friend. The rest of the cast is good - Andrew Scott is wasted here.
