I watched this drama because it had high reviews. I can see why many people loved it but for me personally I found myself to be in a love hate relationship with it. The first half of the drama was entertaining and kept my interest but towards the middle, I found myself often fast forwarding. It felt draggy with fillers. And the things that tried to separate the couple became repetitive. It would have been nice to see more pleasant times between the couple. It did not become interesting again for me until the final 4 episodes. To be honest I almost gave up but wanted to see what happens at the end. And although the ending was technically a happy ending I was disappointed at how fast it was. The idea that suzhen has been locked in this tower for years...yet they only spared a minute or 2 for the reunion scene. I gave it 3 stars because its okay. It is an adaptation and there were beautiful scenes and music. But it could have been executed better.

I heard this cdrama was based around online gaming so I wanted to give it a chance being a gamer myself. I saw this after binging on eternal love. 4 stars because I did manage to finish it and didn't think it was too overly draggy. I think if it had a bit more substance I would have given it 5 stars but it may have to do with me being older. Overall it's a drama that is enjoyable if you just want to watch something fun and cute without thinking too much.
