An extremely compelling movie which delves into issues that are not comfortable to most people in contemporary America. These issues include mental illness, government-funded healthcare (or lack thereof) political violence, perceptions of law enforcement, single parent households and their effects on children, etc. Many of the facets are a grim reflection of current society. This film pays homage to taxi driver which is also a personal favorite. I would strongly suggest this film if you're looking for a thought-provoking drama. I found it to be one of the best movies I've seen in the last 10 years and I don't even enjoy comic book based movies.
