Tragic remake, worst Jane Austin film adaption I’ve ever watched. Lacked authenticity and had terrible casting - did not warm to any of the characters. Instead of an endearing naivety, Emma displays nothing other than an annoying immaturity. Mr nightly also lacks an air of dignity an experience, that is critical to the role he plays guiding Emma’s character development. An Odd humour throughout a film that should be a heartwarming story of Emma’s personal growth.
