You will feel every minute of this movie. It is the only movie I’ve ever watched that is so action-packed, it wore me out and I just turned my head away every now and then to rest my eyes. Shot without any cut scenes or multiple camera angles, the camera is always moving. Not only that, there are more fight scenes, and they last for so long, that I got tired of them. Choreography, stunt work, special effects, etc are all very good. The story was convoluted and I never really figured out who he was working for or whom he could trust. This movie turns it up to 11 and then rips the knob off. It’s just too long for all the action.

The show has its cute and funny moments. The acting isn’t bad, and Tony Danza, of course, is rock solid. I am two episodes into the show and I am actually hoping the writing gets better. The mysteries are very Monk-esque, which is great! However, the way the show wraps things up very tidy and quickly requires a lot of jumps from logic. It’s not as smart as Monk but similar in a lot of ways. Again, I’m hoping the writing gets better, but if they do this on the first two episodes, I don’t have much hope for the future. Likable but needs some better endings.
