Like everyone, I loved the first book, and my PreK students did too. I wish I had read reviews of the sequel before purchasing, though, because I am very disappointed. The concept of time travel is too complicated for young children, and the repetitiveness of the story (and reliance on the first book) were turn offs. My students did laugh a few times, but by the end of the book they were getting pretty squirmy, and even I was tired of it. The first book was simple and fun, and this one just took it all way too far. The pictures were still good though.
