Thoroughly and utterly entertaining. Was a delight to watch familiar characters unfold against the backdrop of 'the Detective' investigation. The acting was excellent. The cast was compiled of a huge array of fine actors. The sets and costume splendid. My only huge disappointment was how did this unique and delightful series did not go to series 2? I was entirely caught up in the whole storyline and am still suffering withdrawal and complete shock there is no further viewing pleasure. What a shame.
