I’m glad I saw this film. I admire its director for endeavoring to remake a masterpiece. My sole disappointment was its opening. Otherwise, I found this film highly satisfying, especially the scenes with Ms. Moreno. I’ll love Mr. Spielberg all my life for presenting this role to her. She was sublime every moment she was on screen. I agree with the reviewer who cautioned regarding tears. I cried several times throughout this movie, as I was especially moved by the courage of the actors to place themselves into situations where comparisons to the original cast members would be unavoidable.
