Prime example of a film with no plot that relies on its watered down concept and actors. Who wrote the script? Why was no attention placed on the bigger picture outside of the two main characters relationship which wasn't really explained? Why was there no reference to social housing or the political structure that is within the society? Full of plot holes because there was 0 story and super shallow, totally meaningless.

A difficult watch. Overtly try-hard for bourgeois hipsters, a meaningless trail of events happen and even though the film was lead by a female lead character it was obscured by the feeling it wasn’t made with women in mind. It felt perverse at points, just far too many sex scenes and I’m no prude. The one good thing was the fashion design and obviously that Emma Stone is an awesome actor.

Amazing. Iconic. The best. This show is so heartwarming.
