I live in the adjoining school district. Indeed the facts are very similar to the movie. It resulted in a parents revolt against high school taxes in Long island at least for awhile. It is movie that should have been made and a movie that must be seen. As for the property taxes, they continue to rise until another scandal breaks loose of gross mismanagement of public money.
