Please Like Me was a really likeable show. I loved every single conversation in it because they always seemed mundane or awkward. That's how people talk in real life. The characters look like real people too. You know, not the very attractive ones you see in other movies. God, I suffered from Clinical Depression for a long time and I've never seen any show portray it so well. I can keep talking and praising Josh's beautiful mind, but this will get too long and boring. So yeah, I'm going to end here. But this might just be the best series I've seen in a long time. Oh, the theme song. Epic!

I liked it. I liked almost everything about it until Chelsea started laughing and I realized just how much she seemed like Rachel Greene. I love Rachel, but Chelsea just didn't feel like an original character anymore.

Everyone loves family dramas, we know. And I can't compare this to the original because I haven't seen that. I can only say that this is great. As a Nigerian though, I'm rating this 10/5 as this is the first American movie I've seen that hasn't had people playing Nigerian accents. I've always wondered why actors always tried so hard to come up with an accent for Nigerians. Ghanaians and South Africans have accents. Nigeria does not. Not most of the time. When they do, trust me, the accent isn't anything like that in American movies. I think the fact that they used actual Nigerians might have helped too. More actors and movie makers really need to take note of this and stop offending their Nigerian fanbase.

I remember not being impressed by the movie, but I was watching with a bunch of people who found it scary. Their reactions were so interesting I have to go this 5 stars.
