A perspective of the Civil War most of of have never even considered. Pro-slavery, anti-slavery? Cessation? North vs. South? But we have never been introduced to the people who were against slavery, but also against war. In northern New York State (probably Quakers) the people were Pacifist. Some of the young men joined the Union Army. Typical of Civil War loyalties, families were torn apart. There are more than 2 sides to the question of who is right and who is wrong. And why does war and the devastation it creates become the deciding factor?
