I read the hole series in two week because I was addicted. I finished it a couple weeks ago and can not stop obsessing over it, so I’m reading it again. In the first book I was intrigued by the vocabulary and had to look up a couple of words. The plot twists make sense and everything ties back to each other in the end of the series. Katniss is a great role model for many kids and is a great character in general. Near the beginning Katniss takes her sisters place in the Hunger Games. Once the action starts up you will not be able to put this book down. This book is for young adults (ages 10-14), Maybe 9 year olds. This book is in my favourite book series and I personally like it more than Harry Potter, it is a little more mature. For people who want to know a little about the book. It is about a dystopian world and 24 kids are thrown into a arena to fight it the death, there can only be one victor. The movie is not exactly the same as the book, but it is still good. Just not as good as the book! (Almost though) :) It’s a female lead book that changed my life for the better! I hope you read and enjoy the book!
