Bonjour ! My wife is American and a graduate of the American University of Paris and of Parson's School of Design of Paris. She has lived the Emily Story to perfection, working for a French lobby, marketing and event company, in the Champs Elysées in Paris. Let me tell you, that the characters depicted in the show are true, so true ! The French niche of Marketing and Luxe is shown as is it. Emily's company, the clients and the interactions with parisian and general ambiance, are presented with finesse and without much "cliché" - because that niche IS like that. Paris is beautiful as we all know but one needs to live a such experience - working in that exclusive "milieu"- to really appreciate this comedy.
