Did the people rating it a 5 actually watch the original series or is this all virtue signaling. The animation to be fair was amazing. But the story was just another last Jedi. Destroy the hero’s from the past and alter characters to fulfill political agenda. It was not a “love letter” to the fans of the original show. All the men were made to look stupid. Teela came off as a selfish narcissist berating the king and queen about her not knowing the alter ego He-man when they just lost their only child. Me me me. The Teela from the old show had honor, was a good friend to he-man and even had her own episode dedicated to her dealing with evil lyn. Kevin Smith is a huge disappointment to me. Teela biggest fear in the show she was too powerful and did not know how to handle it? Rey Skywalker much? Can’t they write a hero’s journey for a woman? I was going to give it a 2 but was annoyed with Kevin Smith lying to fans about what the show was going to be about and how he attacked Clownfish TV. They were right.
