Dreadful. I'm trying hard to forget this film exists so it doesn't ruin the original(s). This is a tired pastiche of the first film that simply recreates scene-for-scene about half of the original (there's even a scene in which the characters say they are only doing a reboot because the suits at Warner Bros are forcing them to). So many plot holes (Smith appears and disappears seemingly randomly, fighting Neo at one point and saving him at another, before inexplicably disappearing again). The whole film is so clichéd now that it uses the term 'sheeple' as part of the key exposition. If you're a Matrix fan who hasn't seen this yet, do yourself a favour and remain in blissful ignorance.
