It captures the 80 and the beginning of the aids epidemic flawlessly It can be compared to Angels in America and the Boys in the Band for it humane presentation of a very frightening and secretive time of another pandemic which was hidden from the world until it killed too many to be ignored. Everything about this series is perfect with an exquisite script and magnificent acting. My heart ached at the end of episode 5
