If you see a 5 star review, please do your best to keep reasonable expectations heading into this particular adventure because it is far from a 5 star game. Nor is it anything close to a 1 star game. It would seem most individuals haven't quite grasped the concept of not jumping to extremes of any spectrum. Biomutant is fun. There is joy to be had here, but it was made by a small team and that fact shines through. This is not a triple A game, but it is retailing for the price of one, so it's up to you to decide if you're willing to pay for an overpriced experience. Extremely poor audio, horrendous storyline, lack of character animations, object clipping, poor AI behavior and janky combat systems are amongst the downfalls here. 🌟 Folks, this is a game that revolves around martial arts, and the combat is POOR. I cannot put enough emphasis on that. It is playable! But you are highly unlikely to genuinely pull joy from the fighting system here. I would highly advise waiting for the price to drop on this one. I'd have a clear conscious suggesting a $30 price tag.
