Trying to like this one... not sold on the tone set in the introduction. Writers: ever hear of nuance? It's a great cinematic tool that artfully done, can be very effective. The plot exposition is a dangled carrot. Again, I want to like this one, but I'm just not as drawn into it as I'd hoped I'd be. Something is lacking, and it seems they're overcompensating on the violence to make up for it. But then, I'm only halfway thru the first episode. So far, it's just meh.
