This book provides far reaching insights about refugee children's forced migratory experiences in South Africa. Its use of art (suitcases and painting) allows children to express their own agency which lets us actually explore in-depth into children's lived experiences as refugees. Beyond this, the child-centered and participatory approach it adopts is therapeutic and expressive, through it, children are able to connect through their art with lost relations and share the importance as well as meanings of their art.
