Its kind of misleading and I love a good cursing movie, but sometimes a lot was a lot and it was just out of context

great potential, family was annoying af, could manage until there. But the fighting scene, come on, that's just plain bad acting. I literally stopped it there.

I can understand all the hate but i really liked the narrative, and not only that, the message that they wanted to give us in the end. There were powerful women in ancient times, often great romance stories are not what they seem to be, and that women in power had a hard time. I mean, instead of watching a show that would kill my brain I'd rather prefer one that makes me have hope and gives me a role model to follow.

Everyone says it’s the Indian handmaid’s tale, but I beg to differ. While the Atwood show tells us about bravery, loss and revolution in Harry Potter’s style; Leila cuts closer to the skin. We are looking at a future not too far from reality, and while the premises are not so outrageous as in the handmaid’s tale, it’s not because of anything other than the fact that the setting, costumes, practices are what we see in the world now, and how we ignore it. I believe it to be a great show showing the growth of their cinematic industry.
