Examples of bad questions with many obscure answers are "When I think of Vermont" and "When I think of Ben Affleck." Show appears to be a version of Family Feud, but America Says needs immediate changes. 1-Level of difficulty needs to be determined for each question so each team receives questions with same level of difficulty. Or, teams could hit a buzzer or something to compete to answer the question which would be just like Family Feud. Something needs to be done because it is not fair for one team to get an easy round 2 question and the other team to get a hard round 2 question. 2-Increase $15k prize to $20k so each player receives $5k. 3-Assign money to completing each level of bonus round, and let winning team keep money earned in bonus round if they don't win the bonus. 4-Change number of responses required because 7 responses on this show tend to include too many obscure answers due to a low probability anyone would give those responses. 5-Throw out obscure questions like the one with jackalope as one of the answers for the bonus question.
