John “Jack” Lally Meere

While it may not be historically accurate, the movie itself is brilliant with great characters, amazing acting from, liam neeson and alan rickman. The story has a real irish feel to it, whether it's because of the music, the accens, or the locations. The music is fantastic especially with Sinead O'connors 'she walked through the fair'. The movie is a definite Must see, especially for irish people.
