I can not tell you how much I love this show! Being part Filipino, and being married to a full Filipino. I see the similarity to many of my wife's family in this show. Outside of that, the show is just funny, at the right moments. Yet at times it has some very touching moments. Super easy to watch, with episodes only be about 20 minutes, so having to sit and dedicate a large amount of your time is not needed. If you get into the show, do yourself a favor if you find you love the show as well. Go on YouTube and watch some of the behind the scenes or Q&A with the cast. They are fantastic people. The guy who plays the father, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee is a great guy in real life. He takes the time to thank every single person involved with the show each day after they finish for the day personally! The last tidbit, the show is based on a the play Kim's Convenience. Which both the mother and the father were in. The show is a must watch!!!
