On 7/06/2020 Willies Geist was interviewing Dr Richard Bressler who said that the death rate from Covid-19 was 1%. I am responding because the number posted by Jonns Hopkins does not support Dr Bressler's statements. On 7/05/2020 the number of deaths were 130,000 and the number of infection were reported to be 2.8 million. calculation of the percentage of deaths can easily be calculated by the ratio of the number of death over the number of infection. 0.13/2.8=.0464 or 4.64 percent. This whole process of having our politicians as well as scientist give inaccurate information is disheartening. MSNBC usually report fact checking and should similarly check this statistic given by Dr Bressler. Hopefully you will broadcast the correct information since dissemination of disinformation has been deadly during this pandemic. Edwin Swann, MD
