Clay Shanks

Once again I was just beaten over the head with pop culture references from the 80’s, but the time it was old and gimmicky. It feels as though, much like modern colloquial speech, this type of injection is a substitute for real descriptive talent. I found self curious as to where the adventure would go, the only thing that prompted me to turn the page until the end, but in the end, there were no surprises. This will ultimately make a better movie than a novel, but will flutter on by in the annals of CGI blockbusterism.
