This is a true story and the event occurred in 1996 about the time I moved from Iowa to Idaho. I have no idea how I acquired the book but I finally picked it up and read it.
I have to admit I usually don't like stories that take me in to court rooms, lawyers lives and the legal system in general.
However, I have to say this was a very well written book and once started it was hard to put down and I read it with attention to detail that was very well presented.
The authors, investigators, attorneys and the rest of the cast were easy to track throughout the story.
If you have any connection to Idaho you may very well recognize many places, companies and people represented, which for me always makes a book more enjoyable and I will heartily recommend you read it.
Having said that at the ending it reminded me how disappointed I am with our legal system from the bottom up and reinforces my personal discomfort in the presence of legal authority, as well as the "good old Boy" network that still controls and allows these things to happen and you could come away shaking your head with disgust as to the final ( took forever ) Conclusion !
