I have read all the books in this series and was engrossed in this world pleasantly for months. I have been waiting for the new season forever and last night's show was the worst of all of them. What happened? The acting was flat and the show a bore. I can't believe a whole show was based on this subject. Even the season opener was flat. It's like the actors are tired of their characters or the writers / directors are different and totally detached from Gabaldon's magic. Keep this up and I'll flip off the channel and go back to my wonderful books.
