What is it like to fall in love with the characters to just have your heart pulled out? Just watch A Walk to Remember and you will find out. My roommate and I threw this flick in expecting a good chick flick and ended up supplying enough tears to flood the Sahara Desert. Jamie came into the movie being the cute stereotypical quiet girl and everything just was dandy and then boom! She has cancer. Like what. Why do you have to do us like that. Then they had the audacity to let them get married and THE NEXT SCENE proceed to just tell the audience she died. like what no i’m not fine. at least let them live a little longer. props to the acting with their ability to make us fall in love with them. but is it really necessary to make us enjoy their relationship 7/8ths of the movie, to have an unresolved ending.. like common... give us sometime to grief before the movie ended. how are we supposed to go to bed now? i love the movie. but i will never watch it again.
