Stoic and brooding performance in The King by Timothee Chalamet, whom I last saw briefly playing the young Son of NASA pilot Coop, Matthew McConaghy's character in Interstellar. His English accent was slightly forced, but well done. Reminded me of a young Prince Charles'. His french was better - being a fluent speaker.
Moments, mood, characters and even actors in this film were cut from Game of Thrones cloth, but of course GoT was based on the Wars of the Roses, of which Henry V was the 2nd heir in the Tudor line up.
Whilst the cinematography was modern, the colours, the costumes and atmosphere were exquisite, as were the different types of armour. `
A very rough start with a dodgy French accent speaking English, Robert Pattinson's Prince Heir/Dauphin of France, had a camp and pantomimist quality - seemingly they used the same pallor blueish make up as he had in Twilight. Albeit a fun character, but nothing that yet still to be proven acting qualities.
Really enjoyed the film, a slow burn but got quite exciting towards the end, with an apt finish.
