I loved the film and its deceptively simplistic plot that led one in literal circles. I was reminded of the land of the lost tv show of the 1970s which occurred in a pocket universe constructed by advanced beings. Both the endless and land of the lost had 3 moons as representations of another place. Both land of the lost and the endless looped back on themselves with both distance and time rendered as tapestries of infinite loops. The endless made me think about the sisyphean curse of repetition of both acton and cause that doomed people to infinite repetitions of their lives.
