I’ve seen all 3 iterations of this story now and this new one was worse than the Rob Lowe version. The David Soul version had a great cast, character development, scenery, build up, and storyline. This new version was quick paced and lacked so many qualities of the original. The character development was the worst. I felt no connection to the characters other than maybe Mark. Straker was a complete miscast and underutilized character. I waited so long for this one and was just disappointed. If you love Salems Lot it’s a must watch but you will probably be disappointed

Wow was worried this was going to be ruined by the showrunners. I loved this. Only wish there was more. The whole cast I thought was fantastic. Hopefully it gets another season.

Definitely worth a watch. Sports bad boy working hard and finding redemption. Movie does go a bit strong on putting down American football whose players would dominate if they played rugby. It just seemed to pander at times to kids who couldn’t play and excel at football. Other than that not a bad movie at all.

I thought the movie was okay. A good watch and installment of the Conjuring universe. I will say I preferred the first Nun movie as it was a more atmospheric type of horror with great background visuals and music. The Nun 2 had some good scares but they were almost entirely jump scares without the buildup. This makes watching it again less likely. The movie is a good watch and a must if you’re into the Conjuring universe.

We all hear about review bombing but the same is true to upvoting. The CGI is not good anyone who thinks differently doesn’t watch a lot of movies or just wants to counterbalance the negative comments on the matter. I don’t think the movie is horrible but it’s also not good. If you haven’t seen the original you may give it a better rating as it’s tough not to compare the two. Sebastian and Flounder fall flat. Horrible design for them. Movie lacks that spark as most of Disney’s live action movies do. Novel idea but so hard to execute because it’s tough to reproduce that special magic again. Disney needs to create some traditional animated movies and start the next Golden Age just like The Little Mermaid did once upon a time.

I’m done with Marvel. This movie is just bad. Where did the magic of these movies go? Less than half way through this movie I started thinking about work tomorrow, what am I packing for lunch etc. seriously how bad does it have to get before something changes. Not sure why these movies have taken such a downward trend but they have. Maybe they got too big and thought we would pay for this without the work they used to put in

If I could give zero stars I would. Watching my nieces and they were watching this. Started hearing what was being told to impressionable kids. The historical lies and the hate being directed at one particular race. Absolutely disgusting. I explained to these girls the truth and no longer have Disney. What’s wrong with people. I thought we were supposed to teach not to hate people

I was excited to think I had HOD and TROP to look forward too. HOD is getting better but TROP is losing me with a bad storyline and bad acting. I love Tolkiens work and this doesn’t work. It might be better if Amazon just created its own mythology and didn’t get expectations so high. I may continue watching until it gets better or just stop. To each is own. This falls flat for me

I feel a bit let down by this movie. I think the hype caused me to expect more so when I watched it fell short. I felt it was slow and boring at times. It was well made but I prefer seeing more action. I liked the main character and her dog. The bear scene was really cool. It’s a good but not great movie. You’ll learn nothing new about the Predator. While it’s not as good as Predator or some of the others it’s much better than The Predator and Predator 2

I think there’s a lot of people taking sides with all the 1 Star and 5 star reviews. It lies somewhere just below the middle for me. It’s okay but nothing special. Good acting but again a horrible story already. Maybe I’m jaded as the comic book was a wreck. Last chance for this hero as a main. I think she’d be better as a supporting character.
