Alright, rewatched this today. As someone who does art and writing, it’s definitely silly with a few fun twists. The movie doesn’t take itself seriously and knows it’s got a target audience of kids. It’s good fun for both adults and kids, but don’t expect a groundbreaking plot or absolutely stellar acting. It’s just there to be funny and good entrainment. If your kids are anything like me and my younger sister were, you’ll likely have this on loop for the kids at some point.... Better than some mindless kids entertainment, yeah?
