We all can agree the Original Lion King cannot be matched from the acting perspective and especially the music. Despite the remake having a star studded cast, the passion was missing with some key roles and the music seemed displaced and unmoving. The singing killed the vibe for the movie, the Lion King needed passionate theatrical singing without the adlibs and rifts. I'll rate this 3/5, and I would recommend seeing it.
