I’ll be honest I’ve never heard of Watership Down until now. While scrolling through Netflix I kept seeing it...I’m only 16 and most 16 year olds are doing other things then watching talking rabbits. I’m your normal average teenagers who still loves stuff like that. (Cartoons, and talking animals) I’d admit when I seen it. The picture drew me but the description deterred me a bit, so I just didn’t want to watch it. In a hurry to watch something I said to myself let me just watch I can’t really knock it till I try it, and let me tell you I was drawn to it. I found everything within the plot so extraordinary. It’s taught me many things from the destruction of men and the battle animals have as well. When I see a rabbit I never think of their problems just that their cute. I’ve some what knew yes they’ll have predators, but what stuck out to me the most was rabbits against rabbits. Even rabbits can go against each other in disagreement just as men go out to war for disagreeing on ones point of view. The need for power was presented through one group of rabbits. This to me portrays life through rabbits eyes and the hardships they go through. We look pass things like this because we aren’t in rabbits or any animals shoes, our lifestyle somewhat similar through.
