I am a bit conflicted about this movie. The music is decent and at least 2 or 3 songs have the potential to breakthrough. But I thought the background music was too loud relative to the vocals, so most of the lyrics were not audible. We turned on close captioning (on Disney+) to be able to fully appreciate the lyrics. The storyline is a bit confusing.I also felt that the storyline was rushed in parts and did not seem too cohesive. Why is the house breaking? Why now? Why didn't Marybelle get a gift? This won't be one of the most memorable Disney movies. But I see it as a successful Disney Broadway show in a year or two.
