On a day visit to York, was after a good cocktail bar serving classics. ‘Classic’ cocktails off the menu were far from expectations. Margarita - very sweet not balanced, no tequila taste, also using cheap table salt on the rim. Whiskey sour - not sour at all, very sweet. Worst margarita and whiskey sour we have ever had. Clearly made by inexperienced staff which is no fault of their own. Bartenders shaking cocktails outwards and with glass facing forwards. A good staff training session and menu re vamp is probably in order to save the reputation of this bar. Underwhelming.

Had a great evening for the vocation beer tasting night which was topped off by incredible service from Jes :)
